Remote Deposit Capture allows customers the ability to change the way they make deposits. This product allows our Commercial Customers the convenience to receive checks from customers and make a deposit directly into our bank from the comfort of their own office. The process is simple:

  • Receive a Check Payment
  • Scan the Checks using a bank provided Scanner
  • Create the Deposit Ticket on-line using the Remote Capture Software
  • Electronically submit the Deposits to CSB

Internet Banking with Citizens State Bank provides a convenient way of banking right from the privacy of your computer.  You may access your bank account via the Internet to transfer money, check account balances, confirm deposits and withdrawals, and view check images.  Enjoy direct access to your account 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

CSB TeleVoice/Phone Banking makes it possible to check on account balances, verify deposits, transfer funds, and make loan payments, all by using your touchtone telephone. This service is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You simply call the toll-free number below to perform real-time, confidential banking transactions. And you can call as often as you like, there's no charge for the call or transaction.

How to set your new personal PIN number – The first use only

- Press 1 for English or 2 for Spanish
- Press 1 for account information

  • Press 1 for checking account information
  • Press 2 for savings account information
  • Press 3 for certificate of deposit information
  • Press 4 for individual retirement account information
  • Press 5 for loan account information

- Enter your appropriate account number followed by the #.
- Enter the Temporary 4 digit PIN which is the last four digits of the primary account holder’s social security number.
- The response will say “You are required to change your PIN number. Please enter your new PIN number followed by the # sign or press * to return to the previous menu.”
- Enter a new 4 digit personal PIN of your choice followed by #.
- Reenter your personal PIN followed by #.
- Follow the prompts to make your selections.

Daily use of Telephone Banking

- Press 1 for English or 2 for Spanish
- Press 1 for account information

  • For your current balance and last deposit amount, Press 1
  • To review transactions, Press 2
  • To transfer funds, Press 3
  • For Interest information, Press 4

Safe Deposit Boxes

A safe deposit box is a great way to protect your valuables and important papers. Wills, photo negatives, insurance papers, birth certificates, deeds, investment certificates, bonds, rare coins, and valuable jewelry are just a few of the items stored in safe deposit boxes.  Rental fees start at $20.00 per year, so enjoy the peace of mind of having your valuables protected.  Safe deposit boxes are leased to established (90 days) bank customers ONLY.  Contents of safe deposit boxes are not insured against loss by Citizens State Bank. Tips to Protect Your Social Security Number (SSN)

Never use SSN as a PIN - Memorize your PIN numbers
Never give SSN, Account Numbers, Passwords, Mothers Maiden Name, Birth Date, PIN, or Personal
information over the phone unless you initiated the call.
Never print your SSN or Drivers license on pre-printed checks.
Don't carry your SSN in your wallet unless you need it that day.
Don't allow clerks to handwrite SSN on checks as ID.

Phishing Scams

Phishing refers to fraudulent communications designed to deceive consumers into divulging personal, financial, or account information including their user name and password, credit card information and social security number.  These e-mails often create a false sense of urgency intended to provoke the recipient to take immediate action; for example, phishing emails frequently instruct recipients to validate or update account information or face cancellation of services.

Rules for Fighting Against Identity Theft

Never user someone else's computer to access any of your accounts  that require a user name and password.
Change your passwords often.
Never give your SSN, Account Number or PIN to anyone over the phone.
Remove mail promptly from your mailbox.
Always shred old files, expired credit cards, unsolicited credit card applications, unused checks and deposit slips.
Never set your computer to remember your password.
